looks like they didn't realize it is self petition, if you use a lawyer, talk to your lawyer. if not consult one on how to appropriately respond

For the I485 Supplement J, respond them with a letter stating clearly that you are a self-petitioner of an approved national interest waiver. And that adjustement of status does not require job offer or supplement J. attach the the I485 instruction page where USCIS clearly stated that supplement J is not required for NIW applicants. You will get your approval sharp. All the best
