medical form
I did my interview however the officer told me that the medical form I submitted was expired at the time of d medical and i need to submit an update version in order for my case to b approved. has any experience any thing like this? I never got an RFE so what is the best way to submit the new medical form?

if you went with a lawyer then you should ask the lawyer to see cos usually is the medical is needed to approve your card they will send a letter to that effect except you don’t have a lawyer then you either wait for the letter or just do one and submit

same thing happened to me. I completed my interview and was told he couldn’t approved it because my medical was expired. He printed me a RFE and told me submit it and send a copy of letter and mail it back to the field office.

okay..that’s the letter am talking abou.. @jam were you given any rfe for your medical? if not I think you have to wait till you recieve a letter for it

meaning, how old is your medical? and how long is it valid for? thank you

I think it is valid for over a year. I file my case about 6 months ago so the medical would still be valid. Form that i filed had 2019 expiration date on it and I file in 2021.

It is very wierd. The form i963 with the exams are valid for 2 years and if it was send until September 30th 21, it would be valid for 4 years. No more 60 days for doctor sign up to send them. All these information are on USCIS website. Exams are so expensive. It is look like they lost it and give a excuse to get another one 🤔🤔

@Jai Kelly Are you talking about the i963 form version? Mine was signed up by the doctor in September 16th 2021 and sent to USCIS in September 27th 2021. Tks

They want the latest version with them covid vaccines. Make sure your attach RFE medical letter . That’s what happened to me as well . We close but the wait is unbearable . 🙏🏿

Chichi. When I sent mine medical exams. it was in September 21 and the new form starts in october 21. When I sent them one week before they start to require Covid Vaccine. No make sense they want to ask again if the exams has 2 years of validy... Spend more almost 2k for my family would be crazy...
