you will have to do a follow up and do a chest xray to show no traces of pneumonia. If you had the pnemoniccal vaccine, the chances are that you are giving a false positive and the chest xray will show nothing

it depends on the country which you lived , in this case your doctor need to order the X-Ray from your l Lung 🫁 and base on your X-ray make a decision , however all tests need to be negative. it happened to me not for uscis , for my residency in hospital after graduation of university.

I was positive of TB test too but not for the USCIS. If your TB test came positive, usually your PCP will order a chest X-ray. If your chest X-rays result is clear and there's no other issues you are good. In my case, the X-ray result were good. Then, my PCP put me in a medication called Rifampin that I had to take for 4 months. After four months, my PCP give me a card to use as a proof that I did the ppd test and no test needed in the future and I'm all set.

@bogata bogata please after your xray showed clear result, did the civil surgeon sign your papers or you had to wait till after medication was complete to send in your medicals? Thank you
