My I-1485 filled in Nebraska service center and number start with LIN and my PD is current and I'm planning to interfile medical without RFE. Any suggestions or recommendations is appreciated

may be you should wait for the RFE. I have seen a lot of posts here about Interfiling and most of them they had issues. If I were you , I would have waited for the Medical RFE.

@Aug 20 If I were you, I would have waited as well. I heard about the officer losing the files and then requesting a new medical exam.

Does that mean that the cases already pending with an AOS and having a current priority date might be adjudicated during the month of September? thanks

I tried to interfile before my interview. So I sent my medicals before they’d asked and I’ve never received an answer if they had received it or not. Months later I got the interview notice and I decided to take them with me on the interview day. (I had to pay again).. On the interview the officer said that they haven’t received them and he would keep it.. so it was good that I brought it with me.. So, according to my experience, I wouldn’t recommend you to interfile. I’ve seen people that it worked and people who didn’t.. and it’s expensive.. so it’s your call..just be prepared in case yours don’t work too..

post of the times they misplace it or never receive it, according to the people who have done it . Moreover, they change the requirements on medical very often. For instance, I submitted my medical concurrently with my 765 and 485. Now they asked for medical again from me but have added the COVID vaccine and HepB. Last time they didn’t ask for Hep B though .

I just received rfe for medical and birth certificate,any medical from 2023 is not valid, more requirements required for the 2024 medical, so if you previous submitted medical before, the will ask again because previous one is not valid.

@fanny bodfy Yes , they sent RFE for medical to me as well because the previous one is expired and now they want updated Covid vaccine with HepB. I sent them the medical and according to FEDEX tracking, USCIS has received it but I haven’t seen any update on the USCIS APP yet.
