My VAWA case was filed in May 2022, so I’m approaching 50 months, and I still haven’t received any meaningful update. What’s even more frustrating is that every time I feel like I’m getting closer, the posted processing time seems to increase by another month.
I’m honestly exhausted from waiting. Has anyone in a similar situation found anything that actually helped move their case forward?
At this point, is there anything I can do besides waiting? Would contacting my congressman, submitting a service request, or filing a mandamus lawsuit make sense, or is it too early? I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through this.
