congragulation B! when your status changed to case approved ?

yesterday, October 13th ☺️ it’s a conditional since we’ve been married a year and a half

apologies! it was changed to approved today, and card was being produced yesterday.

congratulations! even my marriage is less than 2 years. I had interview yesterday at San Jose filed office. interviewer said it’s under review and it will take 120 days to hear from them. but right after I came out it changed to new card is produced. now I am confused. if it’s actually been approved or not

my approval came day after card being produced, so keep an eye out; it will likely change to approved very soon ☺️ congrats to you as well! did your case move a little slower or faster than mine?

Hey congratulations! Could please share the interview questions?

hi B i believe your interview would have been in Fairfax VA. mine will be there too. could you please share your timeline after getting biometric done. Also if you you could share a few questions asked at the interview. it would a great help.

Biometrics were taken last week of July and interview was scheduled for first week of October. The first question was directed at me asking how we met; based on that answer the interviewer grilled my husband pretty hard (he was here on a tourist visa due to expire spring 2020 so technical overstay but, COVID). We were then asked about each other’s families, since my husband has a daughter from a previous marriage I was asked specifics about her; her name, birthday, age, etc. and then my husband was asked about my dad specifics as well. The interviewer then asked to see other documents we had brought, and then specifically said “I want to see pictures” of which we had 10 or so ready for him. The interview went much more smoothly after the pictures were shown and the rest was mostly procedural questions asked of my husband based on the paperwork for filing. At the end, we weren’t given a decision but a print out saying more time was needed to review. We didn’t get any super specific questions about our apartment or habits, however our lawyer who gave us a mock interview asked a lot of the “what color is your mattress” and “who sleeps on what side of the bed” stuff, so I take it these kinds of things do come up a lot. It was a little over a week or so after our interview that we received the notice that the card was being produced, and the next day an official approval.
