marriage based green card timeline
Hello! my marriage based green card application was approved today. Im sharing my timeline here. i used to check others timelines frequently to get some hopes or estimate of how mine is gonna look like. All processing times are variable even in similar cases but still it might be helpful to have more case examples. I didnt send the medical exam with the initial application, they sent me an RFE to mail the medical and some more supporting documents that our marriage is bona-fide. They waived our interview and approved the application about a week after I sent the RFE documents.

we got married August 2021, filed the case December 2021. We have been dating and living together for 5 years though. but I still dont know if its conditional or 10 year. my guess is its gonna be conditional but I think I only know when I get the green card.

our case was at the NBC until very recently probably Jan 2023. then it was sent to Chicago FO.

update on this, I receievd the card in the mail on Feb 6. 🎉 green card is conditional and expires in 2 years. Really hoping you all experience this amazing moment of relief and happiness for receiving your card soon.

@journey man dreamer I sent shared apartment lease, shared rental insurance, shared tax return, shared bank statement a few photos of birthdays with friends and families (we havent had a wedding) and 3 sworn letters written by friends.
