Marriage based green card
Most important advise I would share is to have as many documents showing your finances shared with your partner as possible. We married two years after meeting each other and we had a lot of photos together, a lease with our names, utilities were split but we showed who paid for electricity and who paid for the internet; we didn’t have joint account and that was a burden to show that we still split expenses fairly (doesn’t have to be equal, if the incomes are different); we showed that we were on each other’s insurance (not all, but at least life insurance). We presented documents from a year leading to us getting married to present day. All bills were for that period (a lot of printing). Any concerts, trips are helpful to show with the itineraries, invoices, etc. Also important to have state ID/driver license with the current address where you both live.
