major Dilemma with Upcoming Interview this Week!
My daughter in law has her interview at the Jakarta embassy next Wednesday. Major problem… my son sent his certified birth certificate via FedEx 3 weeks ago 5-7 day air and it hasn’t shown up! He went there yesterday and was told it JUST left the US 3 days ago! We are not hopeful it’ll show up on time. If it’s not there by Tuesday should she reschedule or show up? Is there a way to turn in paperwork after the interview? I’d hate for her to have to reschedule. They’ve been waiting on this process for nearly 2 years. 😭

don't reschedule. she should explain when asked. they will only hold their decision and ask her to bring when ready b4 visa is issued. better than postponing

I wouldn’t reschedule. They will issue her a 221g and list the documents she needs to submit after the fact. I’m sorry that happened, that’s super annoying!

serious consequences you have to face if you cancel the appointment and request embassy to reschedule they might delay your Case more than 3 to 6 months

Thank you for the advice guys! looks like she’ll go and just deal with having to submit it after. Unfortunately, my son has cancer and if this gets delayed long then his wife won’t be here for the surgery. 😭
