Main applicant got green card - dependent status “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”.
Hello everyone,
Has anyone had a similar experience? My husband - main applicant - had his EB3 unskilled I-485 approved and received his green card 2 months ago.
I am the dependent, we started the whole process together. My case hasn't been approved yet, in fact my status was updated 1 week ago to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”. Do I really have to go to an interview alone? Or what should I expect?
My case is at NBC, I haven't received a notice about the interview date yet.
Normally, shouldn't our case have been approved at the same time? Because our case was about my husband's employment, and I am only the dependent.

The interview will be to establish relationship between you both.. I know it's stupid.. but that is what is randomly happening now

@G U We both had student visas (F1), then OPT, my husband found a sponsor under OPT and we started the EB3.

congrats on one of them and you will soon get yours too. if he was under eb3, make sure you both know everything very well and also prepare like he is going for the interview. they will most likely ask same 100+ questions they asked us separately.

@E H the same thing happened with my wife. I was approved back in August and her case is at LAC FO. we have been waiting now nearly 4 months.

I have the same situation, my husband was approved and now after a year i got my interview scheduled.
have you already done yours? if yes, could you tell me about what did they ask you and if your husband also went to the interview? my laywer says he does not need to go as it was not a married based GC

any progress? I’m main applicant I got approved, also my daughter is approved, my wife still waiting been 556 days in biometric.
