Main applicant approval (I-485 green card) but dependent still pending
Today (1/3/2025) I got approval (card is being produced update in my USCIS account) after more than one year. Filed on 11/8/2023 with priority date August 2022. We are EB-2 Mexico but dependent ROW (both being current for a while)our case was all the time in NBC but one and a half months ago moved to Hartford CT and then to San Fernando Valley, CA (Where we reside)
The thing is that my wife still remains pending. Any similar experience? how long would my wife appproval take?

Congratulations to you! I have seen dependents approved a bit later, or it could also mean interview given that you application is in local field office.
How long did it take from case in local field office (san fernando, ca) to approval for you?

it was around 2-3 weeks in San Fernando. btw I forgot to mention that I did not have any interview.

It is known only for the dependent to have an interview in some cases - as long as your married is legitimate, I wouldn’t worry too much. Hopefully your spouse gets approved without an interview soon!

Yes with cases with dependent, and from what I understand especially if marriage less than 2 years

EB2 India - I was approved in August. married for 14 years and spouse (dependent) is still at NSC with no updates since fingerprints in July. so frustrating. I’ve written to senator but haven’t heard back

I am in a similar situation as yours just that it’s been over 2 years, my wife’s case isn’t approved. And we are waiting for the dates to be current again (March 2013, India, EB2).
