made a mistake on I-824 which I already sent out. Can I refile one at the same time?
I did not attach the copy of approval (I797 in this case) with my I-824 form. It is now at Vermont service center which has processing time of 19 months. l do not want to wait for 19 months and receive a rejection notice for missing a supporting document? can I file another I-824 now? It would cost me extra 465 dollars but if it would result in less waiting time, I am totally fine.

I will suggest that you wait it out. Have seen lately USCIS returned people packages when there is something missing. Once you have your I-824 receipt letter, you can send a e-request for correction and upload your approval copy. This is just my opinion.

@Rebecca Hu i did file i-824 in May’23 and still i am waiting.And with me another people are waiting around 15 months so this journey gonna stressful and frustrating.
