lost my work authorization card
pls how do I get a new work authorization card? I was carjacked and my wallet that contains work employment card and others are in my car.

I'm sorry for your lost... You can asked for replacement online but it will take longer. It is advisable to leave your EAD and/or GC in a safe place at your house. You can walk with your State I.D because if it gets lost, it would be replaced faster.

@babatee ola there are steps you can take to get a new EAD card. Firstly, report the incident to the police and file a police report. Then, contact USCIS to request a replacement EAD card due to theft. You should not have to pay for the replacement card in this situation, but am not sure.

If your EAD is lost, stolen or destroyed, you may request a replacement EAD by filing a new Form I-765 and filing fee (if required). Fee is not required.
