I am on H1B . I had my 140 approved (EB2) from a previous company in Sept 2010. I joined the new company X after that 1 year. I have been with this new company X for last 9 years. 

I filed my I485 in Oct 2020 on EB2 and receipt date is October 30 2020 with company X. They applied and used my previous company i140 for priority date.

I got terminated from company X on Feb 2021 second week.

I got a new job with another company Y on H1 transfer receipt in Mar 25 2021 . Filed premium, got RFE on working status and education evaluation in April second week.Still have not responded .

What are my options and here are my questions.

#1 what is my 485 status . Is it still valid . Will I get EAD/AP?

#2 can I file 485J with my new employer or don’t do anything with my current filing? What’s the best advise?

#3 should I expedite to get My EAD/AP. Can I use that for new employment?
