Losing my mind waiting
We had our interview a week ago, waited 14 months for it to be scheduled. The interview went well, we were asked basic questions, but the interviewer was not the final reviewer, so she sent it to her boss. I am getting very anxious, how do I know when it will be approved? The progress time keeps getting longer, from 1 week for the past month, to 3 months to 5 months and now 9 months, all within a week of the interview. I just want to be free. It just feels like life has been stuck. Living on one income is hard in a HICOL area. (I also had an F-1 OPT EAD that expired and doesn’t seem like a great idea reapplying for that. But which also means I can’t go back to work yet.) Everyone is getting approved from the 2024 list and we filed both forms together in May 2023.

you’re not alone. give it a few weeks. it’s not you… it’s literally a giant pile of cases for someone to go through. you’re in the pile. I feel you. also may 2023. ❤️❤️ @Ana A

@Anita Anita they asked us mostly questions to understand if our marriage was real, like how we met, if ive met his family, what are our future plans. Just be yourself and if you and your spouse know each other well you will be fine. I was too nervous, but it went well.

The only issue is financially we are struggling, we just moved recently and thought we would have had the thing by now. I really want to go back to work but I have to keep telling my boss that I haven’t received anything yet 😭😭😭

I think that’s the way they working, also I did my interview 12 June and still haven’t got anything from them.

@Anita Anita it was like an hour because we had some technical issues with the interviewer’s computer. But it shouldn’t be longer than 20 mind
