I paid $5000 over 3 years ago with everything included. It’s been over 3 years and she does not charge me a penny for anything extra I asked her to do. She renewed my EAD and put inquiries out there for me without even asking me first which lead me to my approval last month.

@ss did your attorney charged for your renewal my attorney say you have to pay 1000 for renewal because there is no fees when we initially filed so we need to do it now is it true ?

you don't need an attorney you're wasting your money, I did it by myself and I got the EAD already now waiting on the next stage.

$12000 is definitely too expensive. $5000 at the most. Do not give any lawyer more than $5000.

I was so frustrated when I applied for Vawa over 3 years ago. I needed a lawyer to guide me. My attorney made sure I had everything together. No RFE’s and 5 prima facies. I got approved last month.

@s s my attorney said there is a fees for renewal 1000 for the second time first time they waived the fees for you so second time we need to this is what he said

@chris rod are we talking about renewal for work authorization? I have never paid for any fees. They sent to me 2 work authorizations caregory 09 before the c31. There are no fees for VAWA unless you want to pay for your green card fees which I would advice you to do so

Google "free consultation lawyer immigration" and call a bunch of them in your area and ask for quotes

why would you ever pay $12000 for this. Is this a joke or what? likeee??? that’s way way way above unless you’ve commited a serious serious serious crime paying this much for vawa is unreasonable!

@Nicki M trust me she don't have that kind of money(my friend) some lawyer are using their power on us immigrants ( that lawyer is famous on youtube for vawa case)

@Errol Gooding my friend got their prima facie and combo card (she traveled in December).

moi is tou case vawa, if so you don't need to pay a cent to anyone , even the the USCI will waive your fees if you genuinely can't pay, I couldn't because I was left homeless by my wife and I looked up vawa and filed everything myself and I eventually got the work permit now I'm waiting waiting to hear something about the vawa itself and the gc. Oh and file it under C09, if I can assist you don't hesitate.
