original birth certificate, I94, all marriages and divorce certificates, my passport. I also showed his college transcript. his EAD and answered a bunch of questions all from the forms

hi, how did you manage to sumbmit I-130 and I-485 at the same time? do you need to get an approval if I-130 first? interesting case, can you tell us more?

@Ebee if you child is over 21 and in the United States, assuming in a legal status, you have to wait for another 7 years before you can adjust your status given your I -130 is already approved. This story doesn’t add up, sorry.

@Za daughter S This child is 20 yo and unmarried. Read the comments however, you don’t have to wait 7 years to adjust for above 21 yo chid. The GC approval could take years cos of allocation.

really don’t know. it went well. just drawn out time. they said well know within 120 days
