Live Agent
Afternoon Everyone! So whenever you speak to Emma or Live Agent. Tell them to give you a detailed update on your case and also type” The last agent I spoke to, told me my case was ready to be reviewed by an Officer” when you tell them that, they should give you a detailed update. I did that today and the Agent told me that my case was Reviewed by an Officer on May 30th and that the current status states CONTINUED DECISION, which means that I’m very close to an approval decision. So she told me not to worry, that I should be expecting an approval very soon. The Officer is just wrapping up my case.

@Aug 2022 my case was last reviewed on June/1st .. she told me they only waiting for the decision as they confirmed today that my interview will remain waived .. when I asked about my expedite request she said there is no updates

@Aug 2022 followed your steps… the agent replied withthe following automatic reply and closed the chat: It looks like everything is still processing. Just wait for them to reach out with an update. You can get an idea of how long it will take to process your case from the processing time table available on our website at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times. Enter the Form, Form Category, and Field Office or Service Center, from the drop downs. You will be given a processing time frame. You can then enter your receipt date and select the "Get Inquiry Date" box. If the message indicates "You can send us questions about your case by submitting a Service Request online" you can submit a "Case outside normal processing time" e-request at egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do.

@waiting forever I called USCIS contact center yesterday at (800) 375-5283 and spoke with a tier 1 agent. They can only see the same info that’s available to us online. I was offered to escalate to a tier 2 agent and I agreed. I’m waiting for a call back from them. I didn’t want to contact through Emma due to negative experiences in the past and came across the phone number on their website.

Well I did this and found out my i485 is now at the Baltimore Field Office. I was not notified if the transfer

@waiting forever @teetee fabulous @Long Journey @roro April 2022 @Malik Z @MJ wright Latest update: I received an email in response to my call yesterday to the contact center 🙄 this is what they said: “Our system shows that your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, which was filed approximately August 04, 2022, is pending and is within our current processing time.” they then listed out steps to check processing times. 🙄 Right after I read the email, I got on a live chat through Emma and asked the agent to provide me with the detailed, latest update on my case. I had success! This is what I was told: “Form I130 Petition for Alien Relative is currently processing at the CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER. Latest update has been on date 02-16-2023 the assigned officer was reviewing the documents you uploaded to your case. At the moment you are not missing any information or documentation. If USCIS is requiring additional information USCIS will mail you a notice.” I had no idea my case was transferred from Potomac to California SC. This changes my estimated processing times.

@teetee fabulous these are the steps I took: 1. type “detailed update for case” 2. enter receipt # 3. type “agent” 4. Select option “Connect to Live Chat”

,@Gabby R I finally got to a live agent after being cut off twice. So the last time i gave my A number. However, the response hasn't made me feel any better. This is what it says... This case is in process at the (NBC) NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. If USCIS needs any further information or documentation from you, you will be notified. This is what i already know, so I'm just gonna take a break from checking everyday, because Its just too frustrating 😫
