List of paperwork to bring for the AOS interview.
Hi everyone,
I am aware that I posted here a few weeks ago on what to bring during the interview. But, I just want to make sure that I have everything I needed. To those who have gone through the interview, please let me know what else to bring.
My lawyer asked me to bring the following:
•original birth certificate
•IDs(driver license, EAD, passport)
•Marriage certificate
•Divorce certificate
•Notice of the interview
What else do I need to bring?
Any response would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

okay great. you’re good to go. Those are all the documents you need. you can ask your lawyer if you need to go in with the I-864W form as well.

@Janny Janny VAWA does not really need I-864 and I-864w form. it’s a waiver form for a sponsor.
I did not submit any.
@Bogata Wigge, I think you’re all set. try to know all your info in the I-485.

@blessed & favored @Bogata wigge Vawa doesn’t need the I-864w or I-864. Question are only going to come from what is filed in i-485 with exception to the current rule which came out last month, they may delve into the Vawa case which is slim since it is already adjudicated and approved.

@Bogata Wigge There are certain petitioners that will fill out the I-864 or I-864w when they file for Vawa and not everyone. Vawa recipients don’t need an affidavit of support I-864. Some other may be required to file it due to the underlying basis for them to file Vawa but for petitioners who have a pending i-130 and converting to Vawa, they basically don’t need to file it.
