Letter to congressman
has anyone here had any experience expediting their case through a letter to a congressman/woman? How did it work? did it help expedite things? are there any good templates people have come across?

We tried. But if you fulfill any of the requirements to expedite you don’t need a congressman/woman help. you can do it yourself. If your case is normal I guess it depends on the congressman/woman’s office. Ours insisted that we find a reason to expedite, which if we had we wouldn’t be contacting them, we’re just victims of an inneficient system, our case has been out of time for a while and we’ve been waiting for more than 2 years. They said that they would sent and inquiry, but we haven’t heard any news from them in like 2 weeks. What has worked for us in several occasions is creating out of time requests every month. Thanks to that we finally got an RFE for Medicals

I wrote to Congressman. nobody for the Congressman side even responded. I gave up after that on expediting.

@J P After close to 9 months of wait, what do I get - “Fingerprints applied to my I-765”. Same fingerprints were applied to my I-485 on Sep 8th 2022 and I-131 on Jan 25th 2023. No approvals till now in my case. I-140 was approved on 01 Sep 2022, that’s it. No EAD, no AP, no transfer. case still @ Texas. I just wish my case to be transferred, rest will follow.

@S SS what is your priority date? we started this process in March /21. It has been long, our combo cards took 19 and 20 months each one, and we got them approved like 2 and 3 months after they were out of time in Texas. The wait is not fun, but hang in there

@J P PD is October 2016. Case filed in August 2022.
