Leave job whitou GC in hands
In 3 months I will complete one year with my sponsor. I still don’t have the GC, and I would like to know if my sponsor fires me, what happens? Do I need to file an 485J? I don’t want to leave the job whitout the GC, but I can’t stay in this job more than one year…

I think you have to stay in the job. Some people at my place has been working for almost 2 years and still waiting.

same boat :( but I will finish my contract next month. after that I only work part time and I can chose the shift I want to. No more closing and opening shift would be better

Talk to your employer THAT YOU WANT TO WORK PARTTIME
Then look for a better skilled job and combine

@K RS with all suggestions from the group, the people working for the sponser now and from my personal thoughts you can leave job and file 485j if you find same or similar job with sponsor ready to sign on 485j.
If you LC was filed for EB3 unskilled and you are worried what if they ask you questions during interview. working as eb3 unskilled as 1 year you have already showed your good intentions to work for sponser.
if you can’t find sponser to sign 485j, I would continue to work anywhere I like but with same and similar job say 15/20 weeks until GC , these again shows your intentions to work as unskilled eb3 and if incase they ask you RFE regarding pay checks. You still can send those fron where you work.

@X Y I already work part time every Monday-Wednesday, I work full time only on Fridays and Saturdays. The problem is that the city I’m living sucks! Jobs here are terrible, that’s why I want to leave, because I want to move back to the state I was. It is a hard road for all of us :(
