Lawyer mistake
Our lawyer made a very basic mistake with regards to what was missing and why a RFE was sent to us. I feel very frustrated about it even though the lawyer sent the response fairly quick. He is ensuring that it'll be re-reviewed in the next few days this week. Is this estimate true? Isn't this just like when the form comes up to the top of the pile and now it goes straight to the bottom again? 😓

Same thing happened to me. Received an RFIE on my I-485 for my long form birth certificate. My lawyer sent it in on May 3rd and then on May 4th I received a “response received” date change with a green check mark but since then no decision. PD May 5, 2023.
