Lagos Nigeria interview transfer
Anyone with idea of transferring our case from Lagos Nigeria to another country? Where is the preferred option? It seems like it takes forever to get an interview

I have been thinking on the same thing. I heard Cameroon isn't taking anymore transfers. Ghana has a long wait too. I have heard of people switching to Benin and Côte D'ivoire. I don't know what their wait times are. My husband was DQ'D December 2022. we are already 6 months into the wait. Not sure how much sooner the interview would be if we switched countries.

@becky same goes with me my husband DQ MAY 2023 just worried about the waiting game there so we thought about transferring to another country. But it also says that the person has to be a resident holder in any country you will be moving your case to. My husband is a Nigerian and I don't know how cool deal it might be for Nigerians to acquire such in few of the west African countries

My husband is Nigerian too. That went through my mind too. His safety is a concern too. He knows the trials in Nigeria. He may not know what he is getting himself into by going to a different country. It appears that things are moving faster in Nigeria. towards the end of this month they should be scheduling interviews for cr1 and Ir1 cases. I am hopeful that they will schedule more than a months worth of appointments.
