L2 visa holder work authorization
Recent announcement by USCIS “As of November 12, 2021, USCIS considers E-1, E-2, E-3 and L-2 dependent spouses employment authorized incident to status”
Does this mean L2 are eligible to work starting 12th Nov? Do they still need EAD or need to wait for I-94 updates

Need to wait for the updated I-94 form and then somehow update current I-94 to the new (updated) one

If you have pending EAD renewal + unexpired I94, you can continue working for 180 days after EAD expiration. While if you don’t have an EAD yet, you still need to wait for the amendment of I9 policy in next 120 days.
