when I filled for VAWA I showed up for my interview, and they said we can’t decide now, then few days later they scheduled me for a second interview, I was okay I received prime facie and I renewed my work&travel document. just be confident if you didn’t do fraud, you don’t have to worry. show up and tell the truth.

@Magic Magic call this number +1-800-375-5283 and say Info pass. this will direct you to an agent to talk with. tell them your issue and I’m sure they will guide you on what to do. you can still stop them from closing your I485. tell them you want to hold in abeyance. once you do that they go ahead for file for Vawa. this way your case will be fast in terms of processing time and approval. also there is a probability that if you go for your second interview and you explain everything to them why your spouse doesn’t want to come for your interview; you might still get approved for your marriage case. I have heard of a case before. so you might be lucky.

@Magic Magic you can still try to cancel it by calling USCIS and it’s better to speak to an agent so that can put in a note into the system for you on your behalf. TBH you can call Emma and do all you can to stop it. it’s better you go out of your way than doing less at this point. but if it doesn’t work please just file a new I-485 immediately and start the process going.
