it hasn’t helped me. I applied Feb for K3 and still waiting for CR1 to be approved so don’t rely on it but it’s worth a try

I am on about same time line as you. I did apply for I-129f couple of months back. Only good thing about this is that I-129’s inquiry date is in November 2022 compared to I-130’s which is in May 2023.

@Ak Va, I'll advice you to immediately file for K3(I-129F) It's a benefit that the US congress passed& approved to enable families unite faster than I-130(CR1/IR1) process. If you file K3 with I-130, all you are saying is, "whichever gets approved first" and once they start working on one, they'll deny the other. They only work on one benefit at a time. Its like a safety net. So pls, quickly apply for it. Its just right and its absolutely free.
