When one makes the marriage request and also puts the k3, does it work? I saw many people who say it's a waste of money

my I-130 (CR-1) PD is april 2nd, 2025. nothing yet. december 2025, we sent K3. until now, nothing yet, for now I feel that it is a waste of time and money, had to pay for filling and mailing to the Lawyer. not worthy until further notice.

It is free why not take a chance, it will only be worth if filed within 1 month or closer not like I-130 on Jan and k3 on dec of same year. Seems like currently I129F is 12 months so better if it's done close enough.
