k1 visa / not married
hellooooooo is there anyone waiting for a visa appointment in the Dominican Republic? it's been about 4 months I can't find a date ( no appointment is currently schedule) I already paid for the visa. I received the k1FTP letter since May 10 and I see the visa is Ready in NVC status since May 29. are they going to contact me again? please tell me if you know please if you have already had the experience, please guide me. thank you !

@Nancy janvier normally for k-1 visa you can’t pay until you find an open appointment available. However, some embassies operate differently. Have you attempted to contact them?

hello, for k1 visa they released interview appointments twice in the month of August. both times due to the massive back log the appointments where all selected in about 15 minutes or less. they are currently moving to a new system so I assume what’s the move is complete they will open the calendar up. and to answer your question, no they will not contact you right now. k1 visa needs to schedule their own interview date I also have a WhatsApp group if that would be of use to you? we keep each other informed and share case updates
