@Sb yk when your case has been sent from the NVC to the US embassy in your country, and the status is ready, the embassy will send you or the petitioner a k1 packet. it will contain instructions on how to proceed with scheduling your interview and medical.

hey @Sb yk so it’s actually not the same thing. The k1-ftp is sent by NVC and the k1 packet is sent by the embassy in your country. Mine came a day apart, and they were both sent to my petitioner’s email
