K1 case approved, NVC processing
Hello immigration family!
Our I129F was approved on September 21, 2022.
I emailed the NVC several times and finally received a case number on January 6th 2023. In that email, they gave me the case number and said "you will be notified once your petition has been forwarded to the assigned embassy.."
Does anyone know how long this takes? Do I need to take any action at this point? Should I wait for the notice from the NVC saying that they sent my petition or do I have to submit any documents for them to do that? Where do I submit the necessary documents and pay all the fees?

all you have to do is wait till you get the notice from the NVC and your country U.S embassy. before then you can be tracking it CEAC to see when your documents says in-transit and ready. Goodluck with the rest of the process.

So K1 visas do not need to be "DQ" in order to be passed on to the assigned embassy? THANK YOU!!

No. you schedule your own interview after the instructions from NVC that your case is ready for interview.
