K-1 Visa help - Over 90 days waiting on NVC
I am a US citizen and my fiancee is from Ecuador. I
am her sponsor for the K-1 visa. We were approved
by the USCIS on April 10th, 2023 and recieved form
1-797 shortly after. The 1-797 has an expiration date for August 6th, 2023. We're worried if it expires, will we have to start the whole process over again?
We were originally told that the NVC would send our case to the embassy in Guayaquil, Ecuador in only a month or two but it has now been 90 days with no confirmation that our case has been sent to the embassy. We've written the NVC via their inquiry page several times and they're still saying they have not entered our case into their systems. We're just not sure what to do and any help would be appreciated.
They just replied to our most recent inquiry simply stating the same thing, that "You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General."
Should we write another inquiry? If so, what should we say?

Don't worry; that's great news. Their most recent reply to you means that they'll ship your case to the Guayaquil Embassy next week. I received that same response, and then they shipped my case to my embassy the following week.
Also, don't worry about the expiration date. Your embassy will still process your case and have you schedule your interview.
Go ahead and fill out the DS-160 if you haven't already. You don't need a case number to complete it. Just save it until your case says "Ready."
