@kim kim the question is- why not work and use your EAD with your current sponsor? why does it have to be somewhere else? i think thats the purpose of the work permit to allow you to work with your sponsor while waiting for the gc.

@rickitik c I already tried to work with the sponsor, but they haven’t confirmed mine. The thing is I need money. I dont know when they are going to give me schedule

@kim kim the ead work permit category 9 based on pending 485 has no restriction . you can work for any employer but in case you get interviewed, the officer may ask why not work for your sponsor? thats i think the difficulty in this situation. lets wait for others to comment too

You are free to work anywhere... as long you end up working with your sponsor Nothing else matters You can even be working with your sponsor yet be working somewhere else Absolutely no restriction

I’m in the same situation. Still waiting on sponsor allocation. I’m worried so I asked an attorney, he said I can wait until gc to work for sponsor. wondering if it’s true
