working from home option given to USCIS employees is slowing down the whole process. Sad, but who can question them.

@nick fred thats weird have you asked your lawyer?
G CJan 7, 2025
@jake t it went well (at least to me). My USCIS interviewer had 3 people who were students/learning and introduced them to me, as soon as I entered the her office. I was asked to swear an oath saying all statements will be true.
They asked me standard I-485 yes/no questions. When I got married and divorced. Addresses confirmation. The things in the I-485 related to address, marriage etc.. Studying the I-485 is helpful.
Then they asked me if I ever went to the hospital for my abuse. I told them that I thought they were not supposed to ask about the abuse, the interviewer apologized saying she wasn’t trying to dig up any old memories.. just verifying some final information.
Then the interviewer asked if I had contacted my ex-husband since the divorce(she asked this one 3 times actually). Asked me to re-verify address where the green card will be sent. Then said everything looks fine and she would like to review my case and could t make a decision at the time.
