have you applied for N400? I applied in Aug 2021. The status said ‘Case Received’. Then I applied for n400 in Sep 2022. I got my n400 interview in May 2023. The officer however invited me for pending i751 interview instead. My wife drove me for n400 interview, so, she was already there. The officer had our interview together for 30 odd minutes. Finally she asked me provide more documentation to prove bonafide marriage. she said she would call us both within next 30 days. However, after the 4th day of the interview, I got email that my i751 was approved. Now I’m waiting for the new date of pending n400 interview.

Don’t wanna file for N400 now. Anyone that didn’t file for N400 and still waiting?

@I I filing for N400 is gonna make it faster unless there is something that is making you not want to file. if you don’t file for citizenship, you gonna be looking to get updates on your I-751 in about a year or so because Nebraska is known for being one of the slowest center to process cases. I filed I-751 in November 2021 and N400 in November of the following year. guess what? I’ve got my naturalization since May 18. good luck

September 2021 just got approved and new card sent yesterday.

Why wouldn’t you want to apply for N400? I can apply in two months. My I-751 is still pending. is there a reason why I shouldn’t apply for N400?
