Joining Military while divorced on Conditional Green Card
I am getting divorced while on Conditional GC and I have already passed MEPS to join the Air Force. I am informing my recruiter about the divorce. Will i still be able to join and get expedited citizenship? Will i be scrutinized for being divorced? What paperwork will i need? Please help.

Thanks Alain. My conditional GC is valid until December 2026. Do they ask about why i am divorced while applying for citizenship?

you can still join. you'll get your citizenship by the end of BCT

@C S I believe that isn’t an issue, you can still join the military and get your citizenship just like @Mike Raphone said.
Generally, military will not ask for the reason for your divorce. The military's main concern is your financial situation and any legal obligations that arise from the divorce, not the personal details of why the marriage ended.

Has anyone gone through the same? Can you please share the experience?
Mike Raphone3d
@C S there is nothing to "go through". the military does not care. You'll just be signing forms and given the form to expedite. nobody's asking you about your marriage

Thanks @Mike Raphone. Yes, i totally understand about the military but i am afraid about the USCIS when applying for citizenship if they will deny because I am divorced while on conditional green card.
Mike Raphone2d
that has nothing to do with the military. you'll be fine, just have your documents in order.
