Job Quit/ Break from Job while CRP status. PD Sep 2021
Hi all, my I-485 is pending since Jun 2023. I have been working for diff. employer since june 2023. Lawyer told me they will file supplement J when I receive rfe or get scheduled for interview othwrwise creates duplication bla bla.. I am so tired of working in the restaurant so I m planning to take a six months break or quit. At the same time I am scared too. I dont know what to do. I dont see any sign of getting my PD current (My guess- will take at least a year to be current).What would you have done in this situation?

as long as You dont get rfe and interview you should be fine. take a break.

max it might move coming VB is 4-5 months, we all are still at minimum 12 months away till we get our GC approved.Just leave go for a job that u majored in and find a unskilled job that will sign a suppliment J.

idk man given that they ran out this FY, I don’t think its gonna move more than 3-4 months.

I’m on the same boat. I tried to secure an approved sup j before I don’t want to work anymore. But my law firm adamantly refused to file one now due to not having rfe or interview scheduled yet. I’m not sure my plan of securing approved sup j in advance would be helpful or not because uscis wants the latest one anyway
