It’s getting ridiculous at this point
I’ve been trying to be patient (my least used virtue) but it’s becoming quite scary now. I’m seeing a bunch of applications after ours (March 2nd 2022, TSC) getting approved and I’m so confused. ours is a relatively simple/straightforward case so I’m just not understanding. are there any sites/apps that I can use to see other cases in my time frame and service center to see what’s happening?

you can file an expedite request if it’s past normal processing time. you might need to see how to do that on the USCIS website.

@Nick Barber my husband is in Ghana. the original date they had said I could file an inquiry for it being outside processing times was May, and last week I checked and now they’re saying is September!

My husband is in Ghana also. our PD is August 16, 2021 with Vermont Service Center and still awaiting

@Alexis you can try the case true time app. it has been pretty accurate for my work permit estimation so far. still waiting on the others. I filed in july 2022

That is a bit longer than average but not much. You might think it’s a straightforward case but unfortunately that’s not correct as Ghana is a high fraud country. A high fraud country will cause everything to take longer than the published processing times.

@Sadi CW thanks for the tip. I checked and it’s mostly for work cases but it gave me a date range estimate which is better than nothing

@Kinshasa Adotey are you serious?? it definite has to be way past processing times for you by now! have you tried calling and requesting expedited processing?? that doesn’t seem normal

@Alexis D it states processing normally. Inquiry date is set for June 29, 2023 before can ask questions pertaining to our case. This is just such a horrific process for anyone to have to endure.

@Nesha S the date for inquiring on our case is now June 10, 2023 (which is a Saturday) so I will make contact on Monday if no change has occurred.
