It's finally overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrttt
I'm trying to be Brief as I can so here the HISTORY.
I got married to my us citizen husband in 2020 give birth to my first child in 2020.
filed the I130 in march 2021 it got approved in 3 months .
filed I485 in June _July and I got denied in September 2021(denied because of payment didn't go tru).
refile I485 in November 2021 over the months they sent a few rfe's .
So I had a little issue with the nvc where they keep sending me mail that I have a case in my home country for visa processing smh so I called uscis to let them know im in the usa .plus I contacted the nvc through an inquiry and I let them know im doing Aos in the usa
So I contacted a immigration attorney to ask what to do about my i130 being at nvc instead of uscis she told me to file i864 or i824 either ither but I did not..
So Frustration start to kick in and I neeeeedeeed to work but I did not file i765 at the begining I felt hopeless and confused cause I was stressed out .
So I asked the attorney if I can file the i765 she said no u have to file that my i130 get moved from nvc to uscis smh ..
people some attorney are of no use thank god I never wasted any money on one .
Moving on - I contacted my local congressman and I told her that I need help with uscis long process im frustrated. she told me to go download the i765 form full it out mail it in and as soon I received the receipt or case number call her back. I submit it in October 2022 got my case number right in October and I call her immediately.
she sent me a consent form and I had to write a little letter stating why I need my i765 to be expedited.
I less that 3 month my i765 got approved
In January 2023 uscis sent a rfe for medical I did it in march 2023 submitted it (I'm currently pregnant so I couldn't take any of the vaccine uscis require)
So yesterday may 5th I got an update through lawfully that uscis is actively reviewing my case (i485) then this morning my case got approved thank god ..
Note it got approved without me sending evidence

no additional evidence
only evidence we ever sent in the begining was (lease and baby birth certificate)
but I gathered all these evidence just incase I needed to go in for an interview.
Any way my advice be Patient we all are on a journey but we can never have the same experience but at the end of the day is one destination..good luck god bless keep the faith.

I only applied for i765 last October and IT got Approved in January this year

@Mercy no I have not receive it as yet ...yesterday I got an update that my card was Produced .. I'm anxiously waiting for them to ship it

Update! my journey is over for now with uscis until Citizenship.. I received my 10year green card in the mail a few days ago....keep hope don't give up .why worry when u can pray

congratulations!! I read your entire journey and yes it is frustrating because my case is similar to yours. I don't know what to do. I spoke to several attorneys and they said they can't help. I keep exchanging email with NVC let them know I am NOW here in the US and intend to adjust my status here. No progress. In your case, Did NVC eventually forward your case back to USCIS? Did you file any form to have NVC tranfer the back to USCIS? How did you know when to file your I-485 for adjustment here? Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you?

@Ed I did not do anything uscis did not reach out to me for nothing else than medical...I didn't even move my case from nvc I leave every as it was and my case got approved that's it ....I remember an attorney told me to go file I 824 or i864 to move my i130 from nvc and I didn't do none of that ...she even had advice me not to file my i765 (my opinion Lawyers/ Attorney are not necessary for this process unless you are in removal or had some dui or some sort) they are not that helpful trust me.
just imagine if I had followed what she told me smh ...
Don't worry about the nvc because my husband and I had call uscis about the nvc situation and a tier 2 officer told us when ever they are ready they will request the approved petition from nvc ...go ahead and file your i485 (go read at the back of your approval notice i797 from the approved i130 notice you'll see the info right there clearly stating if you gonna do consular processing or Adjustment of status you can do so....
Question..did nvc forward my case bk to uscis..
Answer...I don't have no idea lol..
no I did not file any forms to transfer my i130 from nvc to uscis .
just go right ahead and submit your i485, i765 and i131 ...
don't worry about the nvc (just my opinion) I don't think it's necessary as I said earlier cause I didn't do that ..Reason (because of the uscis officer advice) ....
