I-130 - Items Submitted to USCIS
I submitted for spousal position on June 30th of 2022. We have a lawyer that is guiding us through the process. We submitted all the required documents and supporting evidence to our lawyer, so that his team could provide it to USCIS.
My wife also put together a timeline curated with photos from when we first met and vacations we've taken together. From what I can see on my profile on the USCIS website, our lawyer never submitted that timeline. Would it be helpful to submit that timeline as unsolicited evidence at this point? Or is it best to stick with what our lawyer has provided USCIS so far?

@Ethan Watters my candid advice to you is just to wait till when uscis will send you RFE for more supporting evidence,then you can add those.

I will upload them if I were you because lawyers do that just to charge extra fees for replying RFE’s. good luck 🍀

Although, I am not 100% sure, but I don't know believe USCIS uploads all of your submitted documents(pictures, forms) online. Your lawyer might have submitted all you presented but it is not showing online.

@Ethan Watters
1. Just so you know, USCIS doesn’t upload every bit of document you provided them on you portal.
2. To be sure sure, I would challenge my lawyer why he didn’t submit that document.
3. If for a fact, the lawyer truly didn’t submit the documents, I’ll wait for an RFE as @blessed one suggested.
4. If you get an RFE just because of photo evidence(which I strongly doubt), then you don’t need to be told to change your lawyer.

what @Tayo O. says in nr1 is correct. I sent everything in my self. but they don’t upload everything

@Ethan Watters It doesn't hurt to submit it since it's not anything negative. More evidence is better in these scenerios, but I'll ask the lawyer why I don't see those on my document list. I doubt if an immigration attorney will forget such important peice that strengthens your case.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I will more than likely contact my lawyer just to be sure that this information was submitted.

Hi Ethan, I’m currently in a similar situation as you. Except when we were getting ready to file the petition, the attorney said we would submit bona fide evidence later in the process. Unfortunately, that approach is inconsistent with what many great immigration attorneys advise (to submit as much evidence as humanly possible WITH the application). I’m the petitioner (US citizen) my husband is overseas. We filed Dec 2022. In Feb 2023 status changed to “actively being reviewed” which is likely because they have no evidence to review and I’m afraid we’ll get a RFE. Wished I followed my gut to submit all evidence initially. Now I’m searching for sound advice on whether I should submit them under unsolicited evidence. I am consulting with a great attorney this Wednesday at 4pm CST. He hosts live sessions on YouTube where he offers free advice. If interested, check him out Hacking Immigration Law, LLC
