you don't know her circumstances as to why she didn't file earlier so it's not fair to ask her that. It seems you're taking out your frustration of waiting over a year on her. If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. Everyone going through this process wants and hopes to be approved in a short amount of time.

hello I did my fingerprints on August 20 and I haven’t received anything else after that when I go check my status of application online it says pending for interview.. should I receive something in between this waiting time for example the work permit?? and how long after the fingerprints should I receive it?! i just want to know if I’m still in the normal waiting time or if I should contact my lawyer …thanks !!

@Luisa if you have ready for interview to be scheduled you should wait to interview scheduled.your work permit should be approved before interview but nowadays you don't know
