Is your lawyer slacking off??
Just curious, did anyone else use Abadir in New York???
I haven’t been able to speak to him since last year and my paralegal constantly declines my call. “He’s always busy or in court” SINCE 2023! Then when I call the office phone all the receptionist does is take a message and that’s it. My Vawa has been approved over a year and 1/2 now and him office has done nothing to try push forward for my Greencard, how does that even make sense???
But my paralegal was happily telling me that a mandatus will be extra money! So if the attorney is too busy to work on my current case why find thousands to pay more money for them to completed the job. I don’t thing these lawyer offices know how much they are messing with peoples life just because of money because they honestly don’t care about us. This experience depresses me more daily and they don’t care, they go on everyday like it’s normal just accepting new clients and collecting more money.

Good morning my advice would be to contact USCIS, or your representative in your constituent. Go above your lawyer, you can ask about your case since your vawa is already approved. Some lawyers a full of shit and sometimes you got to take matters in your own hands.

So they took money, ignoring you, didn't do good job with the case, and now want more money for mandamus, so they can ignore you, and again not do a good job?! Sad.
Your good bet is to file mandamus on your own, as recently our friend did, and he got approval after 25 days, and we did it a while ago. Do youtube search "writ of mandamus pro se"
