Is this a good sign?
Hi all.
We submitted our i-485s (me and my husband) and my i-765 on March 24th. Biometrics on April 17th. Still nothing so far, not even the EAD approval. But our APIs have been updated recently.
Besides API updates in May, it was silent until both our i-485 APIs were updated first on August 15th, then August 27th. Then silence until October 16th, then again yesterday, October 20th. All without event codes, just silent updates.
Is this considered a good sign? Any idea what it could mean?
Emma agents keep giving conflicting information. Asked 4 times in the past 2 months, first and last said it was in San Antonio (local field office) and the 2nd and 3rd agents said it was at NBC.
Though yesterday's updates were around 1:47 PM CT, around the time AWS servers "kind of" started getting better and was wondering if this is a good sign or if yesterday's updates were just server and maintenance stuff.

@Joseph Climber Ask Emma agents sometimes lie. It's been confirmed by many people because they give conflicting information. Look at the paragraph before last of my post. It was in San Antonio, then NBC, then NBC, then San Antonio. They just say your case is in the field office of the address you provide because they lie.. why.. who knows?! :/

@D 3 Exactly same thing happened to me. I had api update on sept 29 2025 with no event code. The agent said case moved to san antonio. I have re-confirmed again and said case is at NBC. I had 3api updates after that recently two updates on Oct 10 and one update on OCT21 with No event codes and confirmed with emma live agent again and they confirmed its with NBC.
