they say current but they're still processing 2023... We can just wait. 🥲

I know, this is starting to get ridiculous, I haven't seen a regular processing approved recently. they are forcing people to pay pp to get more money. some law firm need to figure out what it is going on.

My PD is October 2024 at the Texas Service Center (TSC). I have Lawfully Premium, and I can see that my block hasn't moved in 5 months. only Premium Processing (PP) cases are being evaluated faster. Five months ago, my ranking was 114/232 for the October-November 2024 block, and today I am at 122/253. My advice is to forget about your EB2-NIW process and move on with your life, because checking the app every day will only cause you anxiety.

@Dorys Gallardo . You still have no decision ? This is pretty worrying. As F1 I can’t raise funds for PP and my PD is Oct.1 2024. It’s not OK to hold people’s options with such unfair determination.

Hi, I received an RFE after about 15 months from when my case was filed. I responded approximately two months later, and since then I haven’t received any update. In total, it has been about 28 months since I filed my case.

@Mia 💕 Si, hoy mi abogada me recomendó dejar que mi caso EB-2 NIW siga su curso sin intervenir por ahora, y enfocarnos en iniciar el proceso de la visa O-1, mientras en paralelo trabajamos en una futura EB-1. Por ello, he decidido no depender de un solo camino. Considero que mi perfil ya está bien encaminado para una O-1, y en cuanto a la EB-1, solo me faltan algunos ajustes puntuales que ya están en proceso y no son complejos. Una vez estén listos, procederíamos con esa aplicación

wow that’s such a long wait! just curious, why aren’t you guys doing premium? if things go well, you end up getting a green card and you can make up the premium fee in your lifetime. also if you’ve filed with a lawyer that offered approve or refund, then that is a strong backing if it gets denied at least you get money back 🤷‍♂️

@c w it's not about money, atleast for me. My attorney discouraged pp, saying it increases chance of rfe or denial. there's mixed opinion about this. so it's difficult to make up mind one way or the other after waiting for so long.

@S A even Chen has moved away from the stance on RFE/denial from PP. 🤷‍♂️ I feel like longer you wait, then it increases RFE because you refer to gov docs in your petition from another admin and now it has changed.

@c w you might be right. it's really difficult to decide.

@S A I have Feb 2024 PD at Nebraska and I just did premium few days back. USCIS just increased processing time for standard to 24 months. you might be waiting at least until end of this year at this rate. I feel like the PDs being current, USCIS is pushing towards premium.

@c w that's a really long wait. please keep us posted about your case decision. my attorney suggested for filing I485 instead, so I'm doing that now. will probably wait a couple more months, but not until the end of the year :(

@Andrea T Estoy en el bloque I0E09283. yo aplique al premium y el reloj de los 45 dias empezo el 30 de marzo. Le pedi a Dios que me permita quedarme en este pais🙏. Viendo como van las cosas el proceso regular para octubre y noviembre 2024 por lo menos estaran en 2028. Asi que no queda de otra!

@Mia CG Yo apliqué en sep 2024. Mi bloque es IOE09278… yo no se qué hacer… porque no se si tratar de acelerar las cosas pueda ser contraproducente. Los procesos primium están mandando a un RFE… es decir en el fondo no está pasando mucho… ahora yo soy pais banned asi que no se :( ¿Desde qué pais aplicas? Me cuentas cómo te va! Mucha suerte! 🤞🏼

@Andrea T No creo que sea contraproducente porque el rfe te puede llegar asi el oficial sea el de no premium o el de premium. Los tiempos de espera son una locura en este momento. Yo estoy en Estados Unidos y mi pais de origen no esta baneado. Si tienes el dinero para el PP y sientes que tienes un buen perfil me imagino que si por eso aplicaste. Aplica al PP sino tienes el dinero entonces espera. Pero el resultado es el mismo. Ellos no te niegan mas veces por el premium es una completa mentira. Mucha suerte🙏

@Mia CG No se trata de dinero ni del perfil… se trata de lo rudo que están siendo con la migración. Mi campo y propuesta… soy artista, educadora y en busca de empoderar poblacion vulnerable migrante… hoy en dia nadie quiere a los migrantes. Todo esto me genera ansiedad y a la vez no se qué paso sea el más adecuado. Tendré reunión con mis abogados y ahí decidire!
