Is there a restriction for EAD work?
Hey everyone,
it may seem like a stupid question but I’m unsure and my research is not bringing any concrete answers.
My EAD was approved (Yaaaay! finally able to start looking at getting a job and house with my wife!).
So with this being approved am I limited to job offers?
I have seen numerous jobs that say “US citizens” of “permanent residents” yes I assume that means I need legal status. But the majority of jobs I have found in my required field are saying these.
Should I be ok applying as I have authorization to work?
any help, suggestions welcome.
(good luck to this still waiting on approvals!)

the only restrictions you have is any job that requires citizenship, other than that you can work anywhere else

Some jobs do require GC or citizenship. Most of these jobs are state, federal or private government contractors. It should be in the job description.

Thanks everyone, I thought it might be like that but didn’t know if anyone else had other knowledge of this is a preferred or required thing.
I’m sure I’ll find something in my field haha
