is I-485 just administrative?
Wanted to check with the community. assuming you are in the majority that has not committed any crimes (cleared by FBI), nor had any immigration infractions and are healthy, is the I-485 just administrative?

Yes, but it won't matter. Your application will sit on the shelf at USCIS for a year, and then someone will spend 15 minutes approving it

I could be wrong (please correct me if I am), but if you check the boxes, then it really is just administrative. The frustration comes in the wait because you’re in a state of limbo. That is my understanding.
