We have identical cases brother. I got approved for BFD and submitted my EAD application with Receipt date January 29, 2025. I'm still waiting as well unfortunately.. If you get approved I'd love to hear from you

I sent my request in October 2024 my i918 and the i765 but I'm still waiting for it i918 appears as an invalid receipt number only the i765 appears

I have already investigated and my case only appears as an exemption from the set rate

@Rick R Hey bro, mine is Nebraska service center as well. I still haven't heard anything, but USCIS finally let me submit an Inquiry online on 2/21. Hoping to hear back about whats going on with me case. My case status has been stuck on "Received" Since Jan 29 of 2025r. I've been reading around about others wait time, and it seems that there are a decent number of people having to wait 12-16 months after submitting I-765 application. It sucks bro, all I want is to work legally! I'm assuming you are same?

@Rick R Timeline it this basically - Submitted UVisa application Dec.19, 2019(Without I-765) - Heard nothing until Jan.5, 2025(BFD approved) - Submitted I-765 right after, Got receipt for it Jan 29,2025 - Finally able to send inquiry 2/21/2026 - Today is 2/22/2026, I'll try to comment when I get a new update brother

for inquiry date has changed to March 25 2026 i just checked yesterday and processing time has increased so let see

@Rick R Yeah I messed up which service center it was being processed so I won't be Able to inquire until March too. Let's hope we hear something before then. At least I know I'm not alone, I guess they're just taking wayyy longer with most people

@Rick R I recently saw someone get their work permit approved this week, they applied in November of 2024. so maybe they're getting closer to us since that's only 3 months from our application dates. fingers crossed 🤞🏾

@Rick R They just checked my case to make sure nothing is wrong. They said everything is good and processing normally. They also left note on my case that I called as proof that I called to check. And to basically just keep waiting

@Rick R Bro I just saw someone that applied for C14 after bonafide determination with receipt date January 26, 2025 got approved May 4, 2026. I'm hoping that means they're actually working on January these next few weeks

@Cristian Avila Thats a great news and i also use some (40)diamond to check where i am standing if you then ignore and if you don’t then when we use those 40 they let you see where you stand so jan 15 to feb 15 total :1300 people already approved:700 505 still left and i was ranked 305 means we are 500 people waiting from that period and you gave a news that’s literally help a lot to understand whats going on. i keep checking for everyone but i couldn’t see any recent approval from our time period. keep me updated and i will also. @Rick R My lawyer is Charles Torres from Torres Law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. My lawyer just replied and said they would submit an inquiry on my behalf since they have legal authority to get information for me. Hopefully USCIS actually gives me useful information. That's so ridiculous they can't just let us know what's going on with our case.

@Cristian Avila any update anywhere. one of my friends did those mandmus and he almost waiting since 55 days they usually have 90 days timeline but I don’t think so nothing gonna happen on those .

@Rick R I just called them to try to make the inquiry on phone. An agent submitted and inquiry for me. I explained to them that I tried making an inquiry online by myself but that the response said they couldn't tell me anything because they couldn't prove it's me asking for information. So on the phone I asked the lady what I do if they tell me that again, she sternly said that it won't happen. I'm assuming because I called that they will actually give me information on inquiry. Try calling, say "Infopass" to reach an agent when the AI asks what they may help you with. Have your A number and Receipt number ready

@Rick R And to respond about the your friend submitting a Mandamus lawsuit, those actually do work very well if you have genuinely been waiting too long. I haven't done it only because it cost money. But that will be my last resort after I get response for this second inquiry. If I get a bad response I will probably do research on how to do my own Mandamus lawsuit, since it's usually very effective if you have actually been waiting wayyy too long. Try calling them and submitting inquiry through an agent on the phone, once we get response from that inquiry and nothing comes of it, we can work on doing a mandamus lawsuit bro.
