well, I know people DQ since November 2022 and still waiting, I’m Feb 2023..

DQ 2/22/23, hubby is in India. I'm a US citizen & we're still waiting.

@Devina OB @m r according to what I have seen there are 350,000-400,000 people DQ at NVC. Only 40,000 people per month world wide are getting interviews at their embassies. By that math the interview should happen within 8-10 months. India, Mexico and Dominican Republic are top 3 for the largest amount of visas. Let’s all pray for a faster outcome 🙏🏻

Question for anyone who knows.. planning for the interview ahead: The police certificate my husband got was dated 06/14/2022. Is he required to bring a new one with him to the interview? Also, the two photos for the visa were sent into NVC a year ago. Does he have to have two new ones taken to bring to the interview? Any and all information for the preparation of the interview would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you 🙏🏻

Elleon Beth It's recommended that if your interview is for September or October to get a new police certificate 10 days before the interview just to make sure he doesn't get a 221g and than he would have to wait more time to get his visa approval. Don't worry about the picture when he setup the Vac appointment they will take the picture

I also read that my husband should bring the most current tax transcript from the sponsor (me) and joint sponsor… do you know if it is supposed to be uploaded as well?

Yep as soon as you get your interview email upload the 2022 tax transcript and joint sponsor it you have one

I have a question, what can happen if in 2022 I made WAY less than I did in 2021. At the job I had in 2022 I wasn’t making much money, but now I have a new job and am getting paid way better.

@Mayrim Ortiz I don’t know how they will handle it. For me personally, I knew I didn’t make 125% of the poverty guideline, so I got a joint sponsor.

@Mayrim Ortiz You have to check the poverty guideline they recently updated the amount I think is around 24,650 if you don't met that amount you need to get a sponsor affidavit

@luisin santana @Mayrim Ortiz yes for two people 125% is now $24,650. If you did not make that in the last year I would recommend getting a joint sponsor before the interview to prevent any delays.
