inviting my parents and sisters for Christmas holiday
I married a us citizen and my green card is still pending. I have a question can I invite my family to come to America for Christmas holiday? will this not affect my green card? or my husband should be one to write a letter of invite or both of us

@God is able I am also married to a citizen, with LPR (legal permanent residence) pending. I spoke to my lawyer about this situation as my sister wants to come and visit us here in the US at some point. My lawyer suggested for my husband to invite her, as my status is pending. My lawyer said it would actually be a good thing to have relatives over as it’s another piece of evidence for a bona fide relationship.

@God is able I want to invite my parents over too. it is best if each of you write a letter. one from you, one from your husband and one from two of you. it will be more secure. And if officer ask for letter, let your parents show your husband’s letter first, and they may ask for other letters then they should show others.
