Interview scheduled but PD not current
I got a update today which says “Case is ready to be scheduled for interview” . I recently submitted a RFE for medical. How is it possible when the PD is not current?

I wouldn’t question it. Missing a chance to do your interview can cause you to be stuck in line for a long time.

I recently got rfe for medical and after I submitted it went to case pending.

Yes it was at NBC but I got the rfe of medical from a field office in California. So I don’t know exactly.

@P …. I heard some other people whose pd is not current and still get interview, which is a good thing that ur case processing and not just stuck in some offices.

thats a good thing because you can make sure in person that they get every piece of paper and information from you to be pre-approved

if i could suggest, just go and dont say your pd is not current or anything. I showed up for an interview and they issued me the green card the very next day even thought my date wasnt current. Just take it and dont say anything because i heard lawyers say it happens sometime where they issue you green card when your date is not current. Your case may not go to CRP. Good luck!!!

does anyone believe that in the new fiscal year, for Eb-3 other workers that the PDs will move from January 2020 to December 2020?

@P …. If PD is not current for you then I guess, they can still have the interview but they might issue the GC after your PD becomes current. This is my guess.
