interview scheduled
do I need a lawyer to accompany me to the interview for my husband green card application. I am a us citizen. I petitioned my husband and submitted form i130 in Jan 2023 and i485 in Aug 2023.

@Abeba Tesfai Please make sure you bring a lawyer. It is completely worth it. The current atmosphere isn’t the one to walking into an immigration interview without legal representation.

it will be better and they will be more nice with you when you have lawyer with you guys .

going with a lawyer will definitely be a plus given the present atmosphere
